Is there a fee for admission?
Yes, an admission ticket is required to enter the park, whether you ride or not. On days the Ride Park is open, the option of going on some thrilling rides is always there to entice you!
I purchased a Season Pass, what's next?
New Season Passholder:
If you selected the digital Season Pass option during checkout, you do not need to process your Season Pass at the park. Simply add your Season Pass card to your Google or Apple Wallet and use your mobile device for entry and in-park discounts and offers. If you selected the physical Season Pass option during checkout, you will need to have your Season Pass processed. To do this, simply bring the confirmation voucher that you received via email to the Season Pass Processing Center. There, you will receive your physical Season Pass card that you will use for entry and in-park discounts and offers.
Renewal Season Passholder:
When you renew your Season Pass for next season, continue to use the same card or select the new digital Season Pass option to easily store your Season Pass card in your Google or Apple Wallet! Note: a fee will apply to replace a lost card.
How do I get my perks?
Your perks are loaded automatically onto your digital/Physical Season Pass card from your home park (where your Season Pass card was purchased and/or processed). Simply show your Season Pass card via Google or Apple Wallet or Physically to redeem your perks at any applicable locations.
How can I pay for admission, food, and souvenirs?
Castle Park accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards at the ticket booths, arcade, food locations, and souvenir shop. Admission tickets, season passes, and group tickets are also available to purchase online. Castle Park has gone cashless and will not accept cash at our facility.
Do I still have to pay if I’m not going on any rides?

Is there shade?
There are areas throughout the park with seating and trees that give shade. In Buccaneer Cove Lounge, chairs are available on a first come, first served basis or you may choose to rent a private cabana for the day.
How do I get directions to Castle Park?

What if I have a disability?
If you have a disability, please visit our Park Rules & Policies page. Or please call us at (951) 785-3000 for information regarding accessibility and accommodations. Our staff members will inform you on which rides and attractions are appropriate for your abilities and help you make the most of your visit.
Do you allow smoking or alcoholic beverages?
No. Castle Park is a non-smoking facility and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. No tailgating is allowed.
Are there height requirements for any of the rides?
Yes. All of our attractions have a height requirement to participate. These requirements can be found on the Rides & Attractions page of our website. The requirements are also on signs at the entrance of each ride.
Who should Lost Parents report to?
Should you become separated from your children, make arrangements to meet at the golf patio, located behind the arcade. If you need assistance finding your child, please contact one of our Castle Park team members so that security may assist you with your search.
Do you have a Rainy Day policy?
We have a Rainy Day Guarantee policy! If we close early while you are in the park, you can stop at Guest Relations on your way out to get a rain check ticket to visit another day.

What if my party gets separated?
We recommend making meeting arrangements with your entire party prior to your visit, for example the fountain or the Big Top. If you need assistance finding your party, please see one of our Castle Park team members so that security may assist you with your search.
Where are the best places to go with a toddler?
We have a variety of things to do here at the Park from Rides and Attractions to Shows and Events. For specific Rides & Attraction Height Requirements, please see our Rides & Attractions page.
What if I need First Aid attention?
In the case of injury, we have Medics available and ready to help! Our First Aid Station is located near our Arcade and Mini-Golf Courses to ensure your day is safe, no matter what adventures you may have!
If First Aid is needed for small injuries, please head to Guest Relations located in-between Merry-Go-Round and Rockin’ Tug. If immediate aid is needed, please contact one of our Castle Park team members so that our Medics may assist you. Our team will be dispatched immediately to your location. Do you have any baby changing stations?
Changing stations are available in all bathrooms. See our Park Map.
Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
Castle Park has a wide selection of Food & Dining locations to choose from; however, food or drinks are permitted to be brought into the Park to accommodate Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies. Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies, may visit Guest Relations and ask to speak to a Food & Beverage Manager regarding specific questions about our food options.
All food and drink items must:
- Fit in a bag or soft-sided cooler with seam dimensions no larger than 12” x 12” x 12”. Hard-sided coolers are not permitted.
- Each guest is allowed to bring one sealed non-alcoholic beverage, a refillable bottle, or a souvenir cup into the park.
- No alcohol or glass containers permitted.

When does Buccaneer Cove open?
Buccaneer Cove opens for the summer season from May 10–September 14. The water playground is only open on select dates throughout the week. For more information about our Calendar & Hours, Click Here
Does Buccaneer Cove require a separate admission ticket?
No, your Ride Park admission ticket includes admission into the water playground while open for the season at no additional cost. Passholders have unlimited visits to Buccaneer Cove during their pass validity. The entrance to Buccaneer Cove is just past the Castle Park Railroad.
I'm a Passholder. What special perks do I get at Buccaneer Cove?
Passholders receive:
- Unlimited admission to Buccaneer Cove during pass validity.
- Cabana Discount: All active Passholders get $10 off in–park only.
Note: Valid Pass card and cabana receipt must be shown at Duke’s Boardwalk on the date of your visit to receive your in- park discount after purchase.
My child is under 36". What can they do while inside Buccaneer Cove?
Riders under 36” may play with the water features (spray cannons, aqua domes, cylinder spray fountains, etc) and only use the yellow multilane slide when accompanied by a supervising companion. A supervising companion must be at least 16 years old and meet all other rider requirements.
Can I ride the slide with my child?
No. Riders must slide individually and wait to be dispatched down the slide by the slide attendant.
Can we bring in any food or drinks?
You may bring food and drinks purchased from one of our dining locations inside Buccaneer Cove. All food and drink items are not permitted in the water play areas or slides and must remain in the designated seating and cabana areas. Note: No ice chests, hot plates, or grills are permitted inside Castle Park.
Are there seating areas, or can I bring in my personal lawn chair?
There are seating areas located inside Buccaneer Cove around the slide structure that guests may use. No personal lawn chairs are permitted inside Castle Park. Cabana reservations are available on a first–come, first–served basis.
How do I book a cabana?
Cabanas are available to reserve online during the summer season. Cabana reservations are available on a first–come, first–served basis. Reservations are available online and must be made on the date of their visit.
Note: Same–day Cabana Rentals are available at Duke’s Boardwalk, subject to availability.
What's the difference between Standard Cabanas and Premium Cabanas?
Standard Cabana Includes:
- A shade structure
- A table with four chairs
- Two lounge chairs
- A complimentary lock box
- Positioned around Buccaneer Cover
Premium Cabana includes:
- A shade structure
- A table with four chairs
- Two lounge chairs
- A complimentary lock box
- Premium cabanas are situated in a preferred location
The Cabanas at Mermaid’s Cove have 6 chairs and 4 lounge chairs. Limited Availability.
When should I book a Cabana?
Cabanas are available to reserve online during the summer season. Cabana reservations are available on a first–come, first–served basis. Reservations are available online and must be made on the date of their visit.
Note: Same–day Cabana Rentals are available at Duke’s Boardwalk, subject to availability.
I booked a Cabana, now what?
On the date of your visit, check in at Duke’s Boardwalk. Show your online barcode at the counter. There you will see what cabanas are available.
Note: You must check out of your cabana at Duke’s Boardwalk once you have completed your visit to Buccaneer Cove.
I forgot my towel, can I buy one at the Park?
Yes! Duke’s Boardwalk has all of the Buccaneer Cove essentials, including swim apparel, beach towels, sunscreen, sun hats, and more! Located just to the right of the Buccaneer Cove entrance, just before the Mini–Golf ramp entrance.
Are there any changing areas?
Yes. There are two changing stations located inside Buccaneer Cove just passed the entrance where guests can change in and out of their swimwear.
Note: Guests must change out of their swimwear and watershoes if exiting Buccaneer Cove to the Ride Park and Mini- Golf area. These items are only allowed while inside Buccaneer Cove.

Can I upgrade my ticket to a Season Pass?
You can upgrade your ticket the day of your visit at the Season Pass Processing Center located at Guest Relations.
How do I download and save my Mobile Season Pass?
There are two easy ways to get your Mobile Season Pass.
At Time of Purchase During Checkout
Simply upload your photo during the checkout process. This will automatically create your Mobile Season Pass, which you can download to your Google or Apple Wallet from your confirmation email.
After Purchase through Guest Portal
If you already purchased your pass and did not upload a photo during the checkout process, you can log into the Guest Portal and upload a photo. If you wish to change your photo, please visit Guest Relations or the Guest Experience Center.
Already have a physical Season Pass? It’s easy to go Mobile! To do so, sign in or create a Guest Portal account to download and save your Mobile Season Pass. It’s important to note that you must log in using the email address associated with the Season Pass you would like to convert.
What happens after you upload your photo and complete your mobile season pass purchase?
You will get an email as soon as your purchase is complete, containing your order confirmation and purchase information. This email will not include your passes.
However, shortly after, you will receive a second email with your Mobile Season Passes, ready for download, and able to be added to your Google or Apple wallet.
What if I’m unable to get a Mobile Season Pass?
We highly encourage you to choose a Mobile Season Pass for your convenience, but if you love a classic touch, physical Season Passes are still available.
If you choose to get a physical Season Pass, simply skip the photo upload during checkout. You’ll receive an email with your Season Pass voucher(s), which can be easily redeemed at the park.
Is Parking Included?
Parking is included with the Platinum Season Pass
To access General Parking, enter the Main Gate on Diana Ave. Follow the signs to the General Parking entrance. Have your Season Pass ready to scan at the parking booth for entry.
