If you’ve been wondering about Kevin the Peacock, we have great news, he’s home! After spending some time in a safe and comfortable environment, Kevin has returned to Castle Park and is settling back into the place he knows and loves.
We know how much our guests care about Kevin, and trust us, we do too. His safety and well-being have always been our top priority, and every decision we make is guided by what is best for him and for our guests.
Why was Kevin relocated?
Kevin was moved for his safety and for the safety of our guests. During a period of ongoing construction and maintenance at the park, we wanted to make sure he had a calm, comfortable space to relax while that work was happening. Our team worked closely with experienced caretakers to ensure Kevin had everything he needed and received the best possible care while away.
Where was Kevin?
Kevin spent his time off property at a nearby farm, cared for by trusted professionals who made sure he was safe, well-fed, and comfortable. Out of respect for the privacy and safety of the farm owners, we are not sharing the location, but rest assured that Kevin was in great hands and received excellent care during his stay.

Why are we sharing an update today?
From the very beginning, our priority was Kevin’s safety and the privacy of those caring for him. We wanted to make sure he was healthy, comfortable, and fully ready to return home before sharing an update. Now that the park is ready for his return and with him back and doing well, we’re happy to share the good news with everyone who missed him.
What about the other animals at Castle Park?
The safety and well-being of all animals and guests at Castle Park is always our top priority. Our dedicated team provides daily care, regular health checks, and safe environments for every animal on property. Kevin’s temporary move was a special case, but the same level of care and attention applies to all of our park’s residents.
Is this really Kevin?
Yes, it is really him, the same colorful and proud peacock who has been part of the Castle Park family for years. Our team knows Kevin well and was just as excited as our guests to welcome him back home.
Kevin is now safely back where he belongs, exploring his favorite spots and adjusting to his familiar surroundings. As always, we ask guests to be respectful of his space and let him settle in comfortably.
