Buccaneer Cove, Castle Park’s water playground, features four fun levels of family water play with dozens of interactive water elements.
Have a soaking good time with five colorful water slides, aqua domes, spray cannons, loops and cylinder spray fountains. Not sure you want to get wet? Lounge chairs and seating are available, too. You can also upgrade to one of our private cabanas for a break from the fun and the sun.

When does Buccaneer Cove open?
Buccaneer Cove opens for the summer season from May 10 - September 14. The water playground is only open on select dates throughout the week. For more information about our Calendar & Hours Click Here
Does Buccaneer Cove require a separate admission ticket?
No, your Ride Park admission ticket includes admission into the water playground while open for the season at no additional cost. Passholders have unlimited visits to Buccaneer Cove during their pass validity. The entrance to Buccaneer Cove is just past the Castle Park Railroad.

My child is under 36”. What can they do while inside Buccaneer Cove?
Riders under 36" may play with the water features (spray cannons, aqua domes, cylinder spray fountains, etc) and only use the yellow multilane slide when accompanied by a supervising companion. A supervising companion must be at least 16 years old and meet all other rider requirements.
Can I ride the slide with my child?
No. Riders must slide individually and wait to be dispatched down the slide by the slide attendant.
Can we bring in any food or drinks?
You may bring food and drinks purchased from one of our dining locations inside Buccaneer Cove. All food and drink items are not permitted in the water play areas or slides and must remain in the designated seating and cabana areas.
Note: No ice chests, hot plates, or grills are permitted inside Castle Park.
Are there seating areas or can I bring in my personal lawn chair?
There are seating areas located inside Buccaneer Cove around the slide structure that guests may use. No personal lawn chairs are permitted inside Castle Park. Cabana reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
When should I book a Cabana?
Cabanas are available to reserve online during the summer season. Cabana reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are available online and must be reserved on the date of their visit.
Note: Same-day Cabana Rentals are available at Duke’s Boardwalk, subject to availability.
I booked a Cabana, now what?
On the date of your visit, check in at Duke’s Boardwalk. Show your online barcode at the counter. There you will see what cabanas are available.
Note: You must check out of your cabana at Duke’s Boardwalk once you have completed your visit to Buccaneer Cove.
I forgot my towel, can I buy one at the Park?
Yes! Duke’s Boardwalk has all of the Buccaneer Cove essentials including swim apparel, beach towels, sunscreen, sun hats and more! Located just to the right of the Buccaneer Cove entrance just before the Mini-Golf ramp entrance.
Are there any changing areas?
Yes. There are two changing stations located inside Buccaneer Cove just passed the entrance where guests can change in and out of their swimwear.
Note: Guests must change out of their swimwear and watershoes (including sandals, crocs, etc.) if exiting Buccaneer Cove to the RIde Park and Mini-Golf area. These items are only allowed while inside Buccaneer Cove.
Is Buccaneer Cove Accessible-Friendly?
Due to the nature of the slide structure, the slides are not included with the Accessibility Pass. Guests are still able to play with the water features. For more information about our Accessibility Services Click Here
